Do I need Spanish insurance if I already have one back home?
It depends on what the policy is meant to cover and where you are. For real estate, Spanish vehicles and healthcare in Spain it is usually a good idea — sometimes a legal requirement — to have local coverage. We help you go through what you already have and what makes sense to add.
In what language are the policy conditions?
Officially, the conditions are written in Spanish. We explain everything in Swedish, English or Finnish so you feel confident about what you are signing. We also point out the sections you should pay particular attention to.
How does a claim work?
Contact us as soon as possible after the event. We help you with the forms, know which attachments are needed and guide you through to AXA, the workshop, the hospital or the authorities. The sooner we hear from you, the faster the case can typically be resolved.
Can I pay annually, semi-annually or monthly?
Payment plans vary depending on the type of policy. We go through the available options for your specific policy and help you pick the one that fits your everyday life best.
What happens if I move back to the Nordics?
We help you cancel, pause or amend the policy correctly. If you keep a home or vehicle in Spain, parts of the coverage may still apply — we go through what is relevant in your specific situation.
Is my health insurance valid when I travel abroad?
Many private health policies include some travel coverage, but as a rule we recommend a separate travel insurance for longer trips or destinations outside Europe. We are happy to explain the difference.
